An ancient name, a contemporary taste.
Mentioned two thousand years ago by the historian Pliny the Elder, Pucinum is said to be the grape variety at the origin of Terrano, the symbolic red wine of the Trieste Karst. According to another interpretation, it would instead be the white grape variety at the origin of the highly successful Prosecco.
Whichever interpretation is true, it is certain that Pucinum is part of the genius loci, an expression of authenticity and typicality of this part of the Trieste coastline.
Pucinum. A perfect name for a restaurant that exalts local flavours and the seasonality of sea and land, accompanied by an excellent wine list.
An extraordinarily unique location with a large terrace that opens onto the Gulf of Trieste, the small port of Grignano and the Miramare Castle.
Pucinum is also perfect for weddings, groups, corporate events, happenings and special occasions, with a spacious free car parking area.
